The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, November 22 reveals Gloria Bardwell’s (Judith Chapman) family will demand to know what happened to her in Singapore.
Also coming up, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will make a peace offering to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Plus, Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) will stun Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). And the Abbotts will gather for Thanksgiving.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will arrive at the Abbott estate for Thanksgiving. Although Chelsea will say she’s just staying for a drink, as she’s going to have dinner with her son and her mother. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will show up with specialty desserts and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will turn to Ashley and ask if she really wants to leave. But she’ll say she needs to try. So she’ll send Tucker a text. “Can we have a drink together?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Devon Is Surprised By Mamie’s Question
Meanwhile, Mamie will say she’s incredibly grateful they’re all together for Thanksgiving. “I believe, in the core of my soul, that our family is headed for something magnificent.” But Lily will ask about Tucker. “This is all about you Devon,” Mamie will say. “Tucker never believed that Jill had any rights to Katherine’s company, he believes you are the true Chancellor heir.”
However, Devon will wonder what Tucker’s specific plans are to overthrow Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Mamie will then surprise Devon and Lily by asking if they’ve ever secretly wondered what it might feel like not to have to run every decision they make by Jill.
At the GCAC, Tucker will ask Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) if there’s more going on with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) than just sex. But she’ll suggest he’s a little jealous. “In an alternate universe, I think you and I would have been a perfect match,” Tucker will say. So, he’ll admit maybe he is a little jealous. “In some other world, we would have been a couple for the ages.”
Then he’ll see Ashley’s text and decide not to answer. But Audra will tell him you can love and hate someone at the same time. “If it’s a lost cause, just tell her no.” But Tucker will say it’s a golden opportunity to learn how far Ashley’s willing to take this thing so he’ll say yes. “I think you’re going to end up blowing this plan of yours right out of the water because you can’t get Ashley out of your head,” Audra will tell him.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Tucker Still Doesn’t Trust Ashley
Ashley will arrive and Audra will depart. She’ll say she was thinking about how he’s going to be alone on Thanksgiving and it made her kind of sad. Tucker will tell her he doesn’t trust her motives. “I texted Devon and asked him to join us here,” she’ll say. But Tucker will say she doesn’t actually expect Devon to show up, so he’ll ask what she really wants. Ashley will say the company they founded, Simply Ashley, is as solid as a rock. “Why don’t you take it?”
At Society, the Baldwin family will arrive for Thanksgiving dinner. Lauren will say it’s typical of Gloria to show up from Singapore unannounced with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and expect a Thanksgiving dinner on her. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will comment that he can’t even imagine what Gloria’s demeanor will be.
When Michael and Gloria arrive, she’ll say she hasn’t slept in months. Then she’ll collapse dramatically on a couch and pretend to pass out. Lauren will ask what happened in Singapore and why it took Michael so long to exonerate her. But Gloria won’t want to talk about it, although Michael will say the defense was mistaken identity. “You know we’re not going to let up until you tell us, so you may as well get it over with,” Kevin will say, and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will chuckle. “Don’t you realize, it is a miracle that I am alive,” Gloria will reply. But Michael will say if she doesn’t tell them, he will.
So, they’ll sit down to turkey dinner and Gloria will tell her tale of woe. “I had an affair with a diplomat and then one day, his wife showed up unexpectedly.” She’ll say his wife lost it, so she went into the closet to retrieve her clothes and happened to take some of his wife’s clothes and a cocktail dress. “The worst part,” Gloria will add. “The husband’s the one who pressed charges.”
